Synopsis

Southern is angry; her father has locked her in her room. He is trying to prevent her marriage because he does not approve of the groom. Southern hires Raymond to pose as an obnoxious French count. She hopes that the rude manners of the count will make her father look more favorably on her polite fiancé. Her plans are disrupted when she falls in love with the impostor.

An amusing musical comedy, the film showcases the pleasant, if lightweight, comic and singing talents of Raymond and Sothern.
